On the 8th of May 2012, an autistic gentleman Samuel became a Under-16 Animation Winner for his short film "The Story of the Vegetable Man" at Southend-on-Sea Film Festival Short Film Competition.
He has been interviewed by YourThurrock interviewer Michael Casey and he explained the story of his short film and also about why Samuel made a surreal film placed in Russia. Five years later, he had a kind heart and became a Star Volunteer supporter of a disability charity Cerebra in Wales. Everyone at Cerebra loved him and even after two years later of progress with his efforts, Samuel still decided to send his new inspiring story to a film festival in the heart of Wales (UK). In 2019, Samuel created a charity advertising short film, "Where Efforts Begins with Cerebra."
At the time the video was created, Samuel was so impressed, he has submitted his film for the first time at the Wales International Film Festival which has finally been screened on the 23rd or 24th of September 2019.
