Press release on behalf of Hardie Park.
The Men’s Shed Project based at Hardie Park in Stanford-le-hope have three fundraiser dates scheduled further to the success of their car show and craft event back in April of this year. Alan Marks, Head Supervisor of the Shed said, ‘This Sunday the 16th September we have a Classic Car and Craft Show from 10am to 4pm with free entry to the public then a further date on Sunday 14th October with an American car twist.
If you are a car enthusiast and would like to exhibit a vehicle at one of our events, please get in touch on 07731 953050 to book a space. We charge £2 per vehicle in advance or £3 on the gate. If you prefer motorcycles then why not visit the park on Sunday 28th October between 10am and 5pm for the 1000 Bike Challenge ‘National Biker Get Together’ featuring Harleys, customs, vintage and choppers, Halloween themed dress and a late light show’.
The American Car event on the 14th October is being held as a replacement for the cancelled Canvey Transport Museum Car Show which was due to be held on the same date. If you have been affected by the change of plan Hardie Park shedders would welcome you to their event and urge you to get in touch.
Rob Groves CEO of Hardie Park said, ‘There has been progress with the development of the shed building over the summer and these type of events allow the shedders to engage more people and raise much needed cash to complete the build. We hope to see you there with your family, friends and grand-children.’
