Libraries have long been at the heart of communities. But communities, lifestyles and expectations are changing too. Thurrock Council are conducting a consultation to help plan ahead and make library services fit for the future.
Thurrock Council is committed to keeping all of it library branches. Thurrock Council would like to continue to develop new branches so libraries and community hubs can trive as local community anchors, working alongside community hubs and local community activities. Thurrock Council want local library services to complement the range of council and wider public services supporting residents through access to PCs and free WiFi, as well as through face to face engagement such as surgeries and information points.
