Thurrock Micro-enterprise Project

Supporting local people to provide local support

Are you interested in helping people in your community?  Would you like to make a difference, work for yourself, working hours that suit you?

The Micro-enterprise project can help.  Delivered in partnership by Thurrock Council and Community Catalysts, the project offers free support, advice and information to people who have an idea for a small local service (called a micro-enterprise) that supports or cares for people in their community.

These services could support people to:

  • Live independently at home

  • Live a full life and keep well

  • Maintain or make new relationships

  • Get around in their community

  • Go shopping…and a whole lot more
